The “Biodata International Medical Investment Forum & Symposium” held in HK on 17th April 2015, was organized by SMI SWISS International and co-organized by Wharton Business School and Cornell University.
The Forum & Symposium officially started from 9 am on 17th April.
The Forum & Symposium aims at promoting life science innovation, supporting innovative pharmaceutical companies as well as developing future leaders in biological data and medical technology. Representatives and experts present at the conference had discussions around questions like investment in healthcare industry of Europe, future prospects of global health care industry, and case analysis of listed companies in health care industry. During the event, Pan Jianxiang, the executive director of SMI SWISS International along with other leaders made the speech.
The Forum & Symposium has brought together the world's top international investment experts in healthcare, and many other investors, financial analysts along with the world 's leading pharmaceutical companies and innovative medical & bio-tech companies from the area of life science.
The attending distinguished guests include Alan Paau,president of Cornell University, Hermann Leung,senior partner of the Cathay Capital Group, ?Dr.Laurent K.C.Leung,Ph.D,general manager of Industrial Securities (HK) Financial Holdings Limited, Pan Yihang, board member of SMI SWISS International, Ou Zhenguo,board member of SMI SWISS International, Pan Jianxiang, executive director of SMI SWISS International and Lin Gang, executive director of SMI SWISS International.
During the conference, representatives of different associations, industry experts and enterprise representatives from various sectors had some deep communications about the problems concerned and shared the achievements of western medical model in order to explore the way to success.
Baoshaoqi, President of Cornell University explained to the audience about ”Global Healthcare Industry’s Future and Prospect”
Among them, SMI CEO Dr. Herve, the initiator of Biodata International Medical Investment Forum which has been held in Europe for 11 years and successfully helped dozens of companies to go public in short terms, proposed the idea on how to introduce IEO European Institute of Oncology into China by the support of this forum, and help Chinese patients with gynecological tumors to avoid twice trauma to their bodies from chemo radiotherapy and surgery. The speech won the audience’s rapturous applause.
During the conference, Mr Herve also expressed that if anyone has an intention, he could take the establishment of IEO branches in China into consideration which could be a powerful complement and promotion to the development of Chinese medical industry.
Dr. Herve introduced IEO European Institute of Oncology to the audience.
